Stockholm is a genuine year round destination and is often referred to as the ’Venice of the North’ with 14 islands making up the city centre, including the Old Town.  The great Stockholm archipelago is made up of some 28,000 islands and islets, many of which are easily accessible by an excellent boat service during the long summer days.  Sandhamn, Grindö and Vaxholm are famous locations to name a few.

During the winter millions of seasonal lights illuminate the dark nights. Cosy cafes, atmospheric restaurants and a hundreds of designer shops line the famous streets of Stockholm. Ice Skating on the many outdoor rinks is popular along with a romantic stroll through the cobbled streets of the Old Town.
